I was born in Los Angeles, California in 1928, and raised in the San
Fernando Valley, attended San Fernando schools, graduated from San
Fernando High School and from Glendale Community College with an AA
degree in Architecture. I also attended UCLA for one semester
before entering the NAVY Pensacola Flight Academy. I graduated
from the academy as an officer and served a tour of duty in Hawaii
attached to VW1, flying B-17's and Constellations. I married
Peggy Ebersole in 1952 and we raised four daughters who are all
married and living on the West Coast. We now have 9
grandchildren. In 1955 I started a construction company and
built homes, industrial buildings, medical buildings, bank buildings
and parking structures. All the time I was buying and selling
property related to my construction business. In 1990, I retired
from the construction business and obtained my Real Estate License.
I went to work for ERA Rocking Horse Realty in the San Fernando
area. In 1996 we moved to Lake Almanor and I designed and
built a home for ourselves in the Lake Almanor Country Club. I
entered the Real Estate business in the Lake Almanor area to keep
myself busy in my so-called retirement. I joined CENTURY 21
Lake Almanor Real Estate in 2001 and have been a full time agent
specializing in lake properties. |
